He Xining scored a game-high 31 points to go along with 11 rebounds and six assists as the Shenzhen Aviators pulled off a 109-99 road win over the Tianjin Pioneers in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) League on Friday.
It's the second time for the two teams to encounter in the current season, and the 6th-ranked Shenzhen bagged all the victories.
Five Shenzhen players scored in double digits, Shen Zijie made 11 out of 15 attempts for 24 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, while Jared Sullinger added 15 points for Shenzhen.
As Shenzhen started slow and missed several easy shots in the first quarter, the Tianjin Pioneers took lead early. But He Xining and Shen Zijie led Shenzhen's comeback efforts to turn around before the second quarter.
Tianjin overtook Shenzhen at the beginning of the third quarter, but was soon struck back by He Xining, who scored 13 points in the third quarter, and maintained Shenzhen's advantage to the last moment.
David James finished a double-double with 24 points and 21 rebounds, while Lin Tingqian bagged 24 points for Tianjin.
